2009: World Water Forum, Istanbul

The 5th World Water Forum will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from March 15 to 22, 2009. Titled "Bridging Divides for Water", the Forum will seek to increase awareness of global water issues, political mobilization, and global cooperation to solve resource problems. The Forum, which takes place every three years, is the largest international event in the domain of water management.
