2008: Presidential Elections in U.S., Taiwan, Russia

U.S.: The 44th President of the United States will be elected by absolute majority in the Electoral College to serve a four-year term.

Taiwan: The upcoming elections will determine the successor to current President Chen Shui-bian, who will then serve for four years.

Russia: Elections will take place on March 2nd, in order to elect the successor to Vladimir Putin.
